# Case 1

### Case Type: Planned Murder

### Case Background:

On a rainy day, 19th of September 2024, a man was found dead in the middle of the street. People directly went to the body and called for help, but even before calling the ambulance the man was already lifeless with little to no resistance. Not a single person was found nearby and there are 5 main suspects to this case.

### Autopsy Report:

The person is founded in a dead condition on 6:30 PM on Kerain Square. There are indications of some bruise marks on his forehead and some traces of a substance in his coat. There were no traces of fingerprints nor blood found on his body.

### Murder Weapon:

Chemical Substance: Potassium Cyanide

### Murder Method:

Poisoning through fingernails taking advantage of the victims' habits of biting his fingernails when thinking.

### Alibis:

Suspect #1: The boss of the victim on the place that he worked.

"I just met him/her at work today. As far as today, I only talked about the progress of our upcoming product in the nearby cafe while drinking some coffee with him. After that, we went on our seperate ways and I haven't seen him since. It was around 5 when our discussion ended."

Suspect #2: The friend of the victim that invited him to go to a party.

"I called him/her just 15 minutes before I heard the news. I'm shocked honestly..., I just reminded him of a promotion party for our friend that is supposed to be held later at 6. When I was about to arrive, suddenly I heard the news and rushed straight to here."

Suspect #3: The barista that served the coffee for the discussion.

"Yes, I'm the one who served the coffee for them. I vaguely remeber, but I think there were only two person sitting on the table. Though I'm not the maker of the coffee, I think the coffee itself isn't poisoned, or at least it doesn't smell like it."

Suspect #4: A person standing near the culprit around the time the victim collapsed.

"The person beside me suddenly collapsed, so I tried to give some emergency procedures. I didn't really know what should I do, but when I checked his/her pulse, it's already gone. I panicked and called the ambulance hoping that something can happen."

Murderer: Meeting up for a bit to give some presents for the victim's friend around 6 o'clock.

"I was meeting him around 5.45 o'clock after the clocked out of work. I went to meet him/her after quite some time of not meeting up to give him a present that he entrusted me with for his/her friend. I just gave the present and chat with him for a bit, he looks in quite a hurry so I just went back after chatting for a bit."
