# Case 3

### Case Type: Theft

### Case Background:

On the 7th of January 2023, on Kerain bank, a theft case happened in a bank where the culprit is still unidentified. It was supposed to be a regular saturday with people coming all over the bank. Suddenly, a bank teller screamed out and found out that some of their prized posession as well as bags of cash has disappeared from the bank. Lucky for the bank, and unlucky for the victim, the dynamic duo is here to crack the case.

### Theft Report:

There are several missing items on the bank. The items include some electronics, bags of cash, and a red bag containing gold for the banks' grand prize in an event. Other than that, some jewelries are also missing from the employees' locker room. The crime was noticed around 12.00, approximately after the operational hour of the bank reaches break time.

### Theft Weapon:

None

### Theft Method:

Disguise of an employee of the bank and walking around unnoticed.

### Alibis:

Suspect #1:Bank Teller 1 (Clumsy)

"I'm the one who reported this whole mess. I can't believe that such a thing could happen right between our eyes. I was just finishing my lunch when I noticed that my bracelet went missing. After that, many people complained about stuff missing from the bank, including our grand prize. That's why I panicked.

Suspect #2: Bank Teller 2 (Critical)

"I was just working my job as usual and suddenly things got rowdy. I went to check the things around the bank and noticed that quite a few of them had gone missing. It was precisely after lunch time is over. I looked over my locker only to find my items intact, but some items were also scattering on the ground."

Suspect #3: Bank Security (Strong)

"I was guarding the front gate just like my job has me. I never left my post except for one time where I was called to the main office for around 5 minutes for some new information and then I went back to my post on 12. During my time guarding I didn't see anyone suspicious entering, everyone that enter wears their ID and wore their uniform."

Suspect #4: Janitor (Keen)

"I was doing my job, sweeping the floors and cleaning as usual. I never spotted anything unusual at all, all the people that entered or left the locker room all wear their uniform. Although some of them didn't wear their ID, I believe that there is only a few employee that entered or left the employee room. But, I believe that something is strange in this case, as the person that could've stolen the items would only be an employee with a high rank, for the access card that they have must pass certain criterias in order to open specific places."

Thief: Bank Customer (Sly)

"I was just a coming visitor trying to issue a loan to the bank. I am about to start a new business venture on this city. I did notice some suspicious people that's looming around from the customers' seat. Meanwhile, I was just looking around the whole building and found out that the bank has various events and grand prizes stored around there. Suddenly, around 1 PM, there was an announcement of the bank temporarily closing down, so I wanted to go back home."
